STEVE JOBS MOVIE: FIRST OFFICIAL FULL-LENGTH TRAILER RELEASED

Steve Jobs Movie

After the Official First Look teaser trailer released in May this year, Universal Pictures has now released a full-length trailer of the upcoming movie “Steve Jobs”. The two and a half minute trailer gives us some glimpses of the Steve Jobs biopic directed by Academy Award-winner Danny Boyle.
The movie has been adapted from the bestselling biography “Steve Jobs” by Walter Isaacson. The script for the movie has been written by Aaron Sorkin and it is said that he has done a great job of it. The movie focuses on Steve Job’s professional life in Apple as well as his personal life, touching on his relationship with his daughter Lisa Brennan-Jobs.
Michael Fassbender has played the role of Steve Jobs while Seth Rogen is the Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and Kate Winslet is the initial Macintosh team member Joanna Hoffman in the movie. Jeff Daniels plays John Sculley, former CEO of Apple who had ousted Steve Jobs.
Have a look at the video:

The movie runs through Apple’s initial growth followed by events leading to Steve Job’s ouster from the company and later his return. We will get to see the background story of how brand “Apple” was built, behind-the-scenes for three product launches (but only up to the introduction of iPod) and how Steve Jobs rose to become the epicenter of the modern digital revolution.
This not the first instance that a movie has been made on Steve Jobs. Earlier, a film titled “Jobs” was made where Ashton Kutcher played the role of Jobs but the movie did not perform well at the box office.
However, the upcoming movie “Steve Jobs” seems to have generated a lot of interest and is expected to do well when it hits the theaters on October 9 this year.

YOU CAN TAKE CALLS WITH BUHEL SOUNDGLASSES WITHOUT USING HANDS AND EARPHONES

Buhel 3

SoundGlasses

In order to take a hands-free phone call, there are number of ways; however, almost all of them require that person to wear some device on his ear. This could be annoying for many people as not everyone is comfortable having a device stuck in his ear for long. Moreover, this type of devices also reduces the person’s the ability to hear the sounds in his surroundings. Buhel has introduced a different approach in its new device called ‘SG05 SoundGlasses’. In this device, the sound is relayed through bone conduction method which leaves the ears of that person open to the world around him.Buhel 2
Bone conduction

SoundGlasses use Bluetooth 4.0 technology to communicate with the user’s smartphone whether it is iOS or Android or Windows Phone. There are two transducers on the glasses; one transducer is on the left arm while the other transducer is on the right arm. They are used to play back the audio phone call, music from the smartphone’s memory and music from a MP3 Player connected via Bluetooth. Just like other bone conduction devices, the vibrations from the transducers travel through the sides of the user’s skull to the inner ear. There they are heard as sound.Buhel 3
Advantages

The biggest advantage of this technology is that the ear canal remains open to sounds in the surroundings especially oncoming traffic. Another advantage of SoundGlasses is of hearing protection in very noisy environments like an industrial plant.Buhel 4
Structure

There is a bidirectional mic fitted in the bridge of the SoundGlasses which is a noise-cancelling mic that users use for the conversation. A multifunctional button is located on the glasses which allow the user to place and end calls, and it is also used for activating the Siri/Cortana. The glasses have a lithium-ion battery which takes about three hours to fully charge. That is enough for 3 hours of talk time or 300 hours of standby time.Buhel 5
Accessories

SoundGlasses comes with two very useful things. The first thing is the multiple interchangeable Category 3 UV-certified lenses, and the second thing is an adapter that allows the user to mount his prescription lenses. Atellani is the parent company of Buhel which is nowadays raising production funds on the Kickstarter’s website for SoundGlasses. If everything goes according to the plan, a pledge of $160 will get a person a set of SoundGlasses. However, it is estimated that retail price of the glasses is going to a little more than $270.

QUALCOMM PREDICTS MORE 2K SMARTPHONES ENTERING THE MARKET THIS YEAR

qualcomm-1
The first few smartphones which comes with a 2K display is LG G3 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Both of the device was launched within last year. Qualcomm predicted that more and more smartphones especially the high end range product will come with a 2K display screen resolution, however, the company does not particularly say which manufacturer is it. With the MWC 2015 event which will be held in Barcelona drawing nearer, we can expect that the QHD technology will be turning into reality also.
Although 2K screens are set to hit the mainstream, however, the move of 4K screen on mobile phone will not happen anytime soon. The move of 4K screen is seen much more in the use for tablet display. Since the benefit of a 4K screen can be easily seen on the tablet more than it can be seen on mobile phone. The cost definitely will be lower too.
Executives from HTC, Huawei and Sony has expressed concern on the impact of using a high resolution screen on a mobile phone on the battery life. However, Qualcomm ensures that this concern can be easily solve by using an octa-core processors. Samsung, on the other hand, has perfected the use of 2K display resolution and moving towards 4K display resolution for production as early as next year.

LG AND HUAWEI WILL BE MANUFACTURING TWO GOOGLE NEXUS DEVICES IN 2015

LG Huawei Google

First rumorLG Huawei Google
A few days ago, a rumor was heard about Google’s next plan. It was disclosed that Google is teaming up with a Chinese manufacturer in 2015 for its Nexus smartphone. That company would be among one of the famous tech manufacturers like Xiaomi, Lenovo Huawei and some others.

Second rumor
After a few days, another speculation surprised everyone. This time it was that Google will be releasing two Nexus smartphones just like last year. In year 2014, Google launched two Nexus devices. The first one was HTC-made Nexus 9, and the other one was Motorola made Nexus 6.

Google’s plan
What is even more interesting is that now two Chinese companies are said to be doing this job. Those two companies are LG and Huawei. LG has already manufactured two smartphones for Google: Nexus 4 and Nexus 5. Huawei, other the other hand, has not teamed up with Google yet. It is speculated that LG will be giving the task to manufacture the Nexus smartphone while Huawei will be manufacturing the Nexus tablet. However, the opposite is also possible until it is finally decided who will be doing what.

Chipset decision
The information further discloses that Google has not finalized which chipset it will be using in these devices. It is possible that Google might use the in-house chipset of the respective manufacturer. It is also possible that the company might go for the Qualcomm-made SoC. It should not be forgotten that both Huawei and LG are capable of manufacturing such a device using their own chipsets like Kirin and NULCUN respectively.
